Ten startups from Kenya have been chosen to compete in the Nairobi leg of the MEST Africa Challenge 2019.
The ten startups are part of the 50 companies that MEST Africa announced this week to compete in the 5 cities including Accra, Lagos, Cape Town, Abidjan and Nairobi for a chance to secure five slots at the MEST Africa Summit in Nairobi in June, where they will compete on a global stage for up to US$50k in equity investment and the opportunity to join the Pan-African MEST incubator community.
Here are the ten Kenyan startups:
- Baobab Circle
- Asaak Financial Services
- Eko Biashara
- Tambua Intelligent Diagnostics
- Angaza Elimu
Judges for the Nairobi leg include:
- Bruce Nsereko-Lule (Investment Principal at Chandaria Capital)
- Niraj Varia (Partner at Novastar Ventures)
- Ashwin Ravichandran(Director of Portfolio Support at MEST Africa)
