And this is why we are introducing ‘Founder’s Yard’, an annual project that involves doing a special feature on outstanding techpreneurs in Kenya and Africa who are under the age of 35.
The main mission of “Founder’s Yard” is to highlight to the world, the cutting-edge innovation taking place in the continent but also putting a spotlight on some of the youngest, brightest and visionaries spearheading these tech startups; while providing key learning points from each entrepreneur.
This year’s inaugural edition involved featuring 6 entrepreneurs from Kenya who in their own creative and simple ways are harnessing on technology to provide innovative solutions across different sectors.
From creating automation solutions for SME’s to providing affordable financial products to women, these entrepreneurs are shuddering some of the most composite sectors in Africa.
The edition involved taking the entrepreneurs through a set of similar questions shedding light into how they started and what other aspiring entrepreneurs can learn. Founder360° will also incorporate the entrepreneurs in some of the industry events we will be having through the year.
